How to Protect your PC against Viruses/Malware Even without Antivirus

There are people ask me "How do you protect your PC against to malware even you don't have antivirus?". Antiviruses are needs memory eater, in short they are the one of cause why your system or computer become sluggish or slow. So not using antivirus is a way to make your computer runs smoothly. But there are disadvantages if this.

Note: I suggest this only for the PC's that don't have any stored confidential files or files that are related to your business, because of you don't have any antivirus or anti-malware, your PC is vulnerable to the hackers or hijackers that want to steal your confidential files. So i advise this method only for their own PC that not use in business.

Malware or viruses are destructive, so in this article I will give only my tips on how you protect your PC against to malware without using antivirus. So let's start!

1. Don't download any suspicious file.

When you are connected to the internet, there are numerous threats on your PC and one of the best tip that I would like to suggest is avoid downloading any suspicious files. These files are mostly comes from hacker sites or downloading sites, malwares are created by the hackers who wants to destroy anyone's file system or operating system.

Tip: Don't download on any untrusted sites that you know that there are malware. Download only on your most trusted by peoples.

2. Don't plug your Flash drives or any storage that contains viruses.

This is the one of the most wrong thing you that you must not do! There are viruses that copy itself from one place to another even it is not executed. These viruses are called Autorun virus, these viruses can replicate itself through pluggable storage device which when plug into your computer, the autorun.inf will be executed.

3. Don't execute or run suspicious files.

The third one is DON'T RUN ANY SUSPICIOUS FILES. If you know already that these files is not yours or you do not download that, delete that immediately.

4. Delete the unwanted/suspicious files you do not owned or you download.

If you found any files in your directories that have unknown name or cannot read name and have suffixes of .pif, .exe, .vbs, I suggest to delete them. But MAKE SURE THAT THESE FILES ARE NOT PART OF YOUR SYSTEM OR YOUR PROGRAMS. So, recycle them only then when one of your program does not run because of the missing files restore them, make sure that you restore only the files need by your program.

And that's all! They are all simply but super effective. Thank you for reading!
